  Prras! is an onomatopoeia that refers to the breaking of the glass ceiling. In 2018, Tamara Ibarra and Nelly César founded Prras!, an “artivist” feminist collective that creates exhibitions, actions, and publications to give visibility to Mexican female art workers. In 2018, the initiative launched a call for women in the arts to recognize the work of other women in the arts. More than fifty artists responded in just ten days, recognizing more than 100 other artists, in a testament to the importance of professional and emotional networks.
