• Summary

Obsession at The FLAG Art Foundation is the first comprehensive exhibition by London based artist Cary Kwok and the debut of Prabal Gurung as a curator. The collaboration of these creative visionaries produces a dynamic selection of works marked by technical precision emanating from obsession in relation to beauty, sex, and celebrity. The exhibition includes never before seen new works as well as a survey from past series. The illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition and feature texts by New Museum curator Benjamin Godsill and Opening Ceremony's co-owners Humberto Leon and Carol Lim (Google Books).
