• Summary

Missing Pieces is a visual and editorial archive of pre-Hispanic artifacts sold through informal online platforms. These pieces—ceramic vessels, figurines, tools, and human remains—often disappear into private hands, never entering museums or official registries. By capturing them as digital images and assigning them context, we attempt a small act of preservations. This book is a tribute to the forgotten, fragmented traces of identity and memory that connect us to deeper roots—and to each other. (No Estamos Muertos)
