About the workshop

Joing us on the occasion of the release of Cyberfeminism Index by Mindy Seu, published by Inventory Press. The afternoon will feature an AR-based performative reading by Seu, followed by a short workshop where participants create a collectively-authored resource book. Participants will receive a copy of this publication after the workshop.
In Cyberfeminism Index, hackers, scholars, artists, and activists of all regions, races and sexual orientations consider how humans might reconstruct themselves by way of technology. Edited by designer, professor, and researcher Mindy Seu, it includes more than 700 short entries of radical techno-critical activism in a variety of media, including excerpts from academic articles and scholarly texts; descriptions of hackerspaces, digital rights activist groups, and bio-hacktivism; and depictions of feminist net art and new media art.
Using Cyberfeminism Index as an example, participants will create a collective sourcebook using We will consider different modes of resource allocation, co-authorship, and revisionist histories. Using scanners and our mobile phones, we will use the library of Wendy's Subway to collect excerpts of tools in its expanded definition.

A small number of advance copies of Cyberfeminism Index will be available to purchase. Preorders, to ship by January, are available here
