Gordon Hall reads as part of “Deepening Dams, Hungry Coasts,” the first in the Artists and Writings series of events hosted by Living Content. The January 24, 2020 edition looked at how artists investigate, through their writings and their practice, the cumulative power that language has on material reality; where the act of naming is at once an act of creativity and an act of violence. The evening featured readings by Gordon Hall, Cole Lu, Nancy Lupo (via Skype), and Joseph Buckley reading Ajay Kurian, as well as his own writing.
